Can I buy a Volkswagen completely online?
While we’re working hard to make your VW purchase as easy and convenient as possible, there are parts of the process that still require paper signatures.
Currently, you can shop for and reserve your VW online, then schedule an appointment to purchase and pick up your new vehicle at the Dealership.
Please note, some Dealerships are providing home delivery. We advise you to contact your selected Dealership in advance for details.
Will I ever be able to buy a Volkswagen completely online?
We want to make your VW purchase journey as convenient as possible, and are actively investigating ways to offer even deeper online shopping solutions in the future.
Why can I only reserve certain vehicles from my search results?
At this time, we can provide options from Dealerships participating in our online shopping program. As a result, certain Dealerships and vehicles may not be available for online reservation. In this case, you can contact the Dealership of your choice directly.
How does the trade-in assessment work?
Your conditional trade-in offer is based on the vehicle information and photos you provide. This includes details like your vehicle’s make, model, mileage, and VIN. Your selected Dealership will present a final trade-in offer upon completing a physical inspection of your vehicle.
How do I pay the reservation fee?
You can pay the reservation fee by using your credit card on our secure web portal. The portal accepts VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.
Will my vehicle reservation expire?
Your vehicle reservation will not expire. However, the Dealership may want or need to sell the reserved vehicle before you've completed the vehicle purchase. In this case, your Dealership will contact you and refund your reservation fee to your original payment method, normally within 3-5 business days.
Where does my reservation fee go?
The selling Dealership will hold your reservation fee until applied to the purchase price of your reserved vehicle, or refunded back to your original payment method.
Can I add or remove accessories or protection plans after I’ve made my deposit?
Yes. Simply contact the selling Dealership to adjust your paperwork and vehicle selections accordingly.
Can I change my vehicle reservation to another Volkswagen?
Of course! Just contact your selling Dealership to notify them of the desired change, cancel your initial reservation, and request a refund of your reservation fee. You can then place a new reservation for your preferred VW.
Can I cancel my vehicle reservation?
Yes, you can cancel your reservation at any time prior to finalizing your purchase. Simply contact the selling Dealership to request a cancellation, and your reservation fee will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
